Welcome to the World of Juliska! Our extensive collections of glassware, ceramics, linens, lighting, flatware and home fragrance all reflect our strong philosophy of historical styling imaginatively updated to suit today's demanding lifestyles.
MOUTH BLOWN GLASS
Juliska glass is mouth-blown by artisans in the hills outside Prague. The techniques they use have been passed down through generations. To watch these skilled glassmakers work is breathtaking. Being handmade, no two pieces of Juliska are identical. Each has its own exquisite, individual character. Uniqueness is valued and guaranteed. Every piece of Juliska glass is individually signed as a hallmark of its origin and authenticity. With such heritage, attention to detail and beauty, it is no wonder Juliska glass is extraordinary.
HAND PRESSED GLASS - COLETTE
Inspired by the bustling bistros of Europe and hand-pressed in Portugal, our new Colette Collection is as durable as it is lovely. Elegant, scalloped shapes are trimmed with classic details and our stylish hues of plum and green are très magnifique. Perfect for a romantic picnic under the stars or for your morning chocolate croissant with a favorite book.
Our ceramics echo the same luminous color and artisanal production as Juliska glassware. We transpose exquisite transparent glazes on tough, restaurant-grade stoneware ceramic body. This Portuguese stoneware ensures everyday practicality for all our ceramic collections as it is freezer, oven (up to 500 °F), microwave and dishwasher safe and highly resistant to chipping.
BERRY AND THREAD
The soul mate of our historic, European glassware, our stately ceramics are rich with romance and rustic texture. Everyday is a fresh adventure with a modern palette of muted hues and an abundance of shapes and sizes that make it brilliantly easy to mix and match table settings. Sublimely durable, it is highly likely you will fall desperately in love with our chip-resistant stoneware composition and suddenly crave a moonlit walk along the Seine River.
JARDINS DU MONDE
Lavish detailing and majestic shapes herald our Jardins du Monde collection, which pays homage to four of the world’s most beautiful gardens - Landriana in Italy, Villandry in France, Alcazar in Spain, and Heligan in England. Evocative of the splendor of these idyllic settings, the collection can stand magnificently alone or serve to add a dash of grandeur to our classic Berry and Thread collection.
May the bounty of your table be as boundless as the lovely English landscapes depicted in our new dinnerware collection, Country Estate. With every nibble or sip, you take one step further on a charming narrative of English country life, with a different enchanting scene on each piece illustrating its romantic architecture, bustling activities, and grand vistas. By interlacing age-old decorative techniques with a chic, neutral, palette and unrivaled functionality, Country Estate maintains thoroughly modern sensibilities while still feeling from the manor born. Mix it effortlessly with many of our other collections, most notably our Berry and Thread designs and cool Pewter Stoneware. This graceful collection is the result of an elegant duet between our Juliska Designers and Deborah Sears, renowned Designer and painter of Isis Ceramics in England.
PEWTER STONEWARE (AND EMERSON)
Our handsome Pewter Stoneware has an old-world luster that conjures up visions of grand European estates and is simultaneously cool and modern. Remarkably, our ground-breaking metallic glaze has the same unrivaled durability and functionality as all Juliska ceramics. Its hammered texture gives each piece an original, authentic look of actual pewter. The collection stands well alone, or can be used as a striking accent to all our collections.
For generations, Bamboo has been used by designers across the globe to bring a sense of naturalistic glamour to their interiors and fashion. Our Classic Bamboo ceramics are elegant, sculptural and incredibly versatile. They can be layered with existing Juliska pieces or can stand stylishly alone. Fusing an enduring classic look with modern functionality, Juliska’s Bamboo Collection will grace your home for generations to come.
Imperfectly beautiful and deceptively simple, Quotidien is our 'everyday' white pattern with modern artisanal sensibility. Veiled in sheer white, it's shapes are pure with subtle textured surfaces that beckon comparison to rumpled linen.
Juliska everyday stainless steel and natural bamboo patterns are the perfect compliment to all of our dinnerware collections. Our natural Bamboo flatware evokes a worldly and exotic ambience. Our tasteful stainless steel flatware, styled after cutlery found in Parisian cafés, boasts generous continental sizing and is hand polished in a bright satin finish. In the spirit of French antique tradition, we’ve placed design details on both the front and back of our pieces, for a sophisticated look that you will adore bringing to the modern table.
Juliska linens echo the same themes and colors of our glassware and ceramics, elegantly underpinning our various table settings. The Landriana, Berry and Alcazar ranges are made of pure Italian linen or cotton and are hand-embroidered.
Reinvented for 2011 using only the finest quality components, our glass and ceramic table lamp collection exudes sophistication and elegance. Featuring a vast range of shapes, finishing techniques and new glass and ceramic finial options, the collection offers statement pieces that will complete any room. All Juliska table lamps are UL approved. The new assortment of Juliska luxury shades and finials for 2011 are the ideal complement to any Juliska table lamp. Fine Silk, Natural Bamboo, and light Oak are among the stunning raw materials incorporated into the shades. Finials, offered in three glass colors and ceramic shapes make the perfect finishing touch.
