At Juliska we carefully balance essential Quality Control standards with our authentic artisanal techniques. Juliska products are like live music with no two pieces identical – uniqueness is thus guaranteed and celebrated!
MOUTH BLOWN GLASSWARE
Juliska glass is mouth-blown by artisans in the hills outside Prague. The unique composition of Juliska glass allows it to be blown especially thin, making the glass an unexpected pleasure to drink from and to handle. Being handmade, no two pieces of Juliska are identical. Each has its own individual character – small bubbles, slight color and size variations. Uniqueness is thus guaranteed. Each piece of Juliska glass is individually signed, as a guarantee of its authenticity and quality. Juliska glass is lead-free.
Most pieces are residential dishwasher-safe on a warm, gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Hand wash large, highly decorated or hand painted (Emerson or Landon Collections) pieces.
Our Portuguese stoneware ceramics echo the same rich depth of color and artisanal production as Juliska glassware. We have developed a variety of exquisite transparent, opaque, and metallic glazes on a tough Portuguese stoneware body. All are lead free and each has the same tough durability to handle the most demanding everyday use.
Our stoneware can go straight from the freezer into the oven on 500 degrees – also guaranteed for microwave and dishwasher use. Stoneware is highly resistant to chipping.
