3 Ways We’re Getting Cozy
As the days shorten and nights lengthen, we’re planning on cozying up to a glowing fire all season long — in our humble opinion, one of the very best things life has to offer. Here are three of our favorite fireside moments to recreate in your own home and hearth!
1. You Had Me at Charcuterie
Retreat from the dropping temperatures and hustle and bustle of the season with a crackling fire, good company and charcuterie! Assembling a cheese board is the perfect respite from all the cooking and dishes of holiday entertaining.
Our philosophy on the art of arranging charcuterie is simple: don’t over think it! Our tried-and-true composition consists of three meats (like hams and pâtés, with mustards for dipping), three cheeses, and three fruits (such as dried pears, cherries and apricots). Simply add a velvety vintage served in gorgeous Bohemian glassware (instantly makes an occasion of it) and a beautiful bangle or two (elevates your cozy sweater) and let the sparkling conversation commence. So curl up, tuck in and savor the magic of fireside moments as Sinatra croons in the background…What do I care how much it may storm? I’ve got my love to keep me warm!
2. Cozy Crafts & Haute Chocolate
Sometimes it’s the simplest things that create the most lasting memories. An idyllic day of holiday baking and craft-making with the children is a recipe for pure joy — happy messes guaranteed. 3. Formal Fireside Fête
